Prohibited Items Policy

This policy defines items and listing practices that are not allowed on FlashListing. It protects buyers, sellers, the public, and the platform from illegal, unsafe, deceptive, or high-risk listings.

When in doubt, do not list the item. Sellers are responsible for legal ownership, item legality, accurate descriptions, and compliance with all applicable laws.

1

Policy Overview

FlashListing is built for lawful local sale catalogs. Sellers may not list, advertise, promote, facilitate, or coordinate the sale of items that are illegal, unsafe, deceptive, infringing, regulated in a way that requires special licensing, or otherwise prohibited by this Policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable law.

Sellers are solely responsible for determining whether an item may be lawfully advertised, transferred, and sold. FlashListing may remove listings or accounts at any time if we believe a listing creates legal, safety, fraud, intellectual property, or marketplace trust risk.

2

Illegal Goods and Unlawful Services

Listings may not include goods, services, or transactions that are illegal under federal, state, local, or international law, or that encourage, facilitate, or instruct illegal conduct.

This includes items whose possession, sale, transfer, import, export, shipment, or advertising is illegal or restricted in the seller's or buyer's jurisdiction.

3

Weapons, Firearms, and Dangerous Devices

Firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, explosives, firearm accessories, ghost gun components, 3D-printed weapon files, silencers, stun guns, tasers, switchblades, combat knives, brass knuckles, weaponized tools, and other dangerous weapons or devices are prohibited.

Items marketed for harm, evasion, or unlawful violence are prohibited even if they may be legal in some jurisdictions.

4

Controlled Substances, Drugs, and Paraphernalia

Controlled substances, illegal drugs, prescription medication, regulated pharmaceuticals, cannabis products, drug paraphernalia, synthetic drugs, research chemicals, and products making unlawful drug or medical claims are prohibited.

Do not list items intended to produce, consume, conceal, distribute, or facilitate controlled substances.

5

Counterfeits and Intellectual Property Violations

Counterfeit goods, replicas marketed as authentic, unauthorized reproductions, bootlegs, pirated media, infringing software, fake designer items, copied artwork, and items using trademarks or copyrighted content without authorization are prohibited.

Rights holders may report alleged infringement under our Copyright Policy.

6

Adult, Sexual, and Exploitative Content

Pornography, sexually explicit material, adult services, sexualized imagery, escort services, fetish content, non-consensual intimate material, sexual exploitation, and any content involving minors in a sexual or suggestive manner are prohibited.

7

Hazardous, Recalled, or Unsafe Materials

Hazardous chemicals, poisons, explosives, radioactive materials, regulated pesticides, flammable industrial materials, recalled consumer goods, unsafe baby products, expired safety equipment, contaminated goods, and items requiring specialized handling, licensing, or disposal are prohibited.

Sellers may not list items known to be defective, unsafe, subject to an active recall, or likely to cause injury when used as represented.

8

Stolen, Fraudulent, or Unauthorized Items

Stolen property, items subject to liens or ownership disputes, unauthorized estate property, fake documents, credentials, gift cards obtained fraudulently, financial instruments, access credentials, lockpicking tools, surveillance evasion tools, and fraud-enabling items are prohibited.

Sellers must have legal ownership or authorization to sell every listed item.

9

Regulated or Restricted Items

Items requiring special licenses, background checks, age verification, permits, professional supervision, or regulated distribution channels may not be listed unless FlashListing expressly allows them in writing. This includes alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, vehicles without proper title transfer documentation, medical devices, financial products, animals, and highly regulated consumer goods.

10

Misleading, Deceptive, or Manipulative Listings

Listings must not misrepresent price, condition, authenticity, availability, quantity, model, dimensions, defects, safety issues, ownership, pickup terms, included accessories, or seller identity.

Bait-and-switch listings, fake scarcity, undisclosed material defects, manipulated photos, duplicate spam listings, fake inquiries, fake reviews, and deceptive claims are prohibited.

11

Review, Removal, and Enforcement

FlashListing may remove or restrict listings, disable public sale pages, suspend accounts, revoke collaborator access, preserve records, or report activity to law enforcement or rights holders when we believe a listing violates this Policy, our Terms, law, or platform trust and safety standards.

Policy enforcement decisions are made at FlashListing's discretion and may occur without advance notice.
